  Founded in 1866, ̩��Ʊ is a teaching-centered research university based on the American liberal arts model of higher education. ̩��Ʊhas over 8,000 students and 800 faculty members. The University encourages freedom of thought and expression and seeks to graduate men and women committed to creative and critical thinking, lifelong learning, personal integrity, civic responsibility, and leadership.

The main language of instruction is English.

We believe that financial considerations should not become barriers to quality education for students who meet our academic criteria. Around 80 percent of students who apply for financial aid at ̩��Ʊreceive such assistance.

Tuition Fees at AUB are assessed per-credit based on a maximum of 15 credit hours per semester. Students enrolling for more than 15 credit hours may do so at no additional charge.

̩��Ʊhas developed several types of financial aid programs to cater to the needs of a broad range of undergraduate and graduate students.
