Stakeholder Meeting: WOMENA Study

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​The WOMENA Study, hosted at the Center​ for Research on Population and Health at the Faculty of Health Sciences, AUB, held a stakeholder meeting, bringing together a diverse group of experts from the fields of labor, economics, and health. The purpose of the meeting was to learn from the perspectives of the stakeholders on the key focal areas of the research, including efforts needed to attract women to the workforce, protect their health, and prevent female labor market attrition during health, social, and economic "shocks". 

This event consisted of several segments, including networking and discussions around areas related to the complementary work packages of the study: regional evidence synthesis; analysis of existing surveys in the region; survey and qualitative research in Lebanon.
