As one of the largest and most diverse departments on campus, the Department of Sociology, Anthropology, and Media Studies (SOAM) offers three graduate programs, two undergraduate degrees, and six minors. Our academic programs are led by world-class faculty members who have come to Beirut from around the globe. Students leave SOAM with the critical thinking and communication skills necessary to understand and thrive in today’s complex world.
