Environmental Health Department

Environmental health is the branch of public health that: focuses on the relationships between people and their environment; promotes human health and safety; and fosters healthy and safe communities.

The Environmental Health Department (ENHL) at FHS provides training in environmental health within a broad basic sciences background. The department emphasizes evaluation and control of major environmental health problems in developing countries in such fields as water supply, waste disposal, food hygiene, occupational health, air pollution, and others
