  Founded in 1866, ̩��Ʊ is a teaching-centered research university based on the American liberal arts model of higher education. ̩��Ʊhas over 8,000 students and 800 faculty members. The aim of Saab Medical Library (SML) is to provide ̩��Ʊusers with access to timely, and reliable biomedical information in the location and format most appropriate to their clinical, educational, and research needs.

Objectives and Functions

C��llect, organize, promote and maintain an up-to-date high-quality biomedical library collection in all formats.
Provide library instruction and research services for Medical students, faculty and researchers.
Handle different kinds of reader services, from circulation, reference, serials, items on reserve, reading areas and book stacks.
While Jafet Library handles the technical services, branch library personnel check upon receipt of materials and adjust with the departments concerned in case of discrepancy.
